This was my second experience with serious makeup. So…how was it?

Let me start by saying that for this work I decided to try using lenses for the first time. I had several sets of black lenses. I couldn’t wear the first ones, but I decided to go all the way with the second ones. And…it worked:

At first, I wanted to try using wax makeup. But I never managed to apply it at all, so I went back to the good old two-component silicone that I had already used last time.

I decided to make a smile on both sides at once, and…it ended in a fiasco. The thing is that this type of makeup dries pretty quickly. So to make everything turn out perfectly, I had to first apply it on one side, and then do it for the other.

Here in the photo you can clearly see how well everything turned out on the left side and how poorly on the right.

When I fixed the previous mistake, everything started to look much better (in my opinion).

Age is taking its toll, my hair is getting thinner (at least on my head, haha), and I’m coloring my eyes. I have a new makeup that looks like a big lipstick. I won’t say what brand it is, but that’s what I used. I did “smokey ice” in my own style 🙂

After that, I applied white makeup to the main part. I’m getting a little bored with white. I’ll have to experiment with something else next time. I was afraid it would overshadow the eyes, but they blended and it turned out to be a smooth transition. Let me remind you – I’m new to all this and I’m testing everything on myself.

Here’s where the incident happened. Because I didn’t paint the wounds at all, thinking to leave it for last. But when I got to this “last” I realized that I didn’t really understand what to apply. So basically I applied thick blood inside the scars. It turned out something like this:

Then I had to think about something else and… thinner blood just flowed from my scars. I came to the conclusion that I had to apply the same type of blood that was in the middle of the wounds.

After applying to one side, the result was approximately this:

When I applied this blood to the other side, it finally looked more or less like something.

After putting the finishing touches, I got the result I wanted.

Next, I decided to see how it would look in full-fledged photos.

Maybe for nothing, but I spent the main photo shoot in neon.

I thought it looked more mystical and scary this way. But that was just my opinion of the work and how it was supposed to look.

I’ll add a few color photos so you can at least see them here 🙂

Here, by the way, the makeup started to come off due to the strong facial expressions. But I think that only added to the charm of the work.

In the picture above, I like how the neon reflects the emptiness of the eyes.

Here I tried to highlight one color on camera as much as possible in neon.

In color, highlighting one color gave a little more result. Overall, I like how the result turned out. So..

Let’s end it all with a smile 🙂
Thanks for watching 🙂
