Coffee is the strongest alcohol…

We multiply the minutes by zero…
But we pour warm water on ourselves,

I think this is the first work I took the day before yesterday, and I’ve only just gotten around to posting it now))

This is a work based on the song by the band Arlett – “Let’s open up”. It’s quite…thematic. And it’s dedicated to one person. Someone will ask me “…what? Are you crying?” – but no. Because this work is a bit different. Starting with…

“Game over” – we bite our lips,
Look, it will continue!

And indeed. There will be more. I decided to change the format of my works somewhat, or rather, the source of inspiration. And instead of looking for it in what is destroyed, I tried to find it in what is emerging.

The main idea of ​​the work, of course, is based on the words from the song that “Coffee is the strongest alcohol.” Therefore, the work uses a classic beer glass and… a coffee machine.

As for the second element of the work, it’s the lip marks. Why are they here? Well… the text says something like:

“Let’s open up! Come on!
Let’s open up! Come on!
Meet me in the square in an hour –
Let’s kiss!”

And I decided that I should add this to the work. The drawing was done using red and black lipstick to create two clear outlines. Ideally, I wanted to create a heart-shaped figure from them, but it wasn’t that clear, so I had to add the drawing of the heart itself.

What is this work about for me personally? Oh… it started with a song. It continued with communication. And if at the beginning of the creation it had a more symbolic and, somewhat, awkward character, and with my shyness, then at all, then at the moment of exhibiting the meanings of the text blossomed with other colors.

Let it be about discovery. About the attempt of two people to find themselves in the plane of this world for each other and to search for some common vector that would allow them to move on. About the attempt to open up to each other.
