“Open your eyes!.. Look for the light!..
Breathe!.. Breathe!..
Although it’s dark now, the sun will come out!..
Breathe!.. Breathe!..”

There are several classic sayings about light and darkness. One of them is that “it’s darkest before dawn.” There is also a quote from one TV series, where it was said that “nothing good happens after the second night…” – so the saying from the song “It covered right in the middle of the night” – about the fact that most often some stupid thoughts come to our heads at night. What’s more, I myself often encounter the fact that the worst decisions were made at night. Without waiting for dawn.
“Covered again in the middle of the night,
Tears straight into your eyes,
Let time heal our wounds,
Everything will pass!.. Everything will pass!..
Everything will pass!..”
This is a work on the song of the Ukrainian band O.Torvald – Breathe. The most interesting thing is that the song itself has a rather short text, but I managed to put almost all of its meaning into this work.
The eyes are closed as if a person is crying. But, at the same time, the phrase “everything will pass” is visible on the hand, as if hinting that all sadness is not forever.
If you watch the clip for this song – the action takes place in a hospital ward, so the pulse lines here are both a reference to the original clip and the fact that no matter what, life goes on.
“In love, the power is invincible!
Breathe!.. Breathe!..
And step by step here and now
Breathe!.. Breathe!..”
The heart in the work symbolizes this very phrase from the song “in love, the power is invincible”. That is why the pulse lines come from the heart.
