In fact, this is the second creative work on the theme of the song by the band Halflives – Immortals. I was inspired to create it by the original clip, in which pillars of fire rise at the phrase “Burn us!”. But, in general, the idea itself was about a rather difficult relationship with one person. And when it seemed to me that she was burning me from the inside, I wanted to embody this work in this form.

In the clip, Linda has fire behind her back and comes out of special machines, while my hands, in the literal sense, were burning. This is a solution of soap bubbles filled with gas from an air freshener. It burns. The task was simple – to set fire to two hands at the same time and create a grimace of hatred or something similar. It was quite a difficult task (I’m talking about setting fire to the hands at the same time), because it was done with two candles that were stuck into the ground on special sticks. In general, besides photo correction, the only thing I did with this photo was manually remove these same habits from the photo (not AI) to make it look more realistic. Otherwise, one take, one frame, one photo. Since it was necessary to make “that exact frame”, the only thing that is different about this work is that here the person who pressed the shutter button was my wife, and not me, as I usually do. This work required a little more hands than two, because two were in flames 😉
