It saddens me when people say that their morning starts with coffee. Mine started with the fact that after last night I wanted to hear a snippet of the song Free by Lo Spirit again. And…when I went to look for a snippet (I thought he wouldn’t release the whole song, and this is it), it turned out that…he had a song!!!
My joy knew no bounds, and I decided to immediately do some work on it. Especially considering that “immediately” is in…a month after the song was released (damn Spotify!)

The song itself is about a difficult relationship that ends, and a person who has removed the veil from his eyes sees that in order to have faith in himself – he doesn’t need someone who caused him pain. He is, as it were, freeing himself from that feeling, saying “Goodbye”.
Actually, at first I wanted to hang chains on my hands, but I came to the conclusion that chains hanging in the background would create a brighter impression, as if a person had freed themselves from them.

The inscription on the body (Free) was made with artificial blood. It so happened that I applied it first and, strangely (but accidentally and pleasantly) it “bleeded” at the moment when it was time for me to take a photo. I would call it a symbol of a person “bleeding” in an abusive relationship, but… isn’t freedom given through blood?..

The inscription on the hands is Good Bye. In general, I wanted to change it and write it as “Good By”, but decided not to deviate from the canons of the song. This word is repeatedly heard in the song itself. Indicating that this is the end.

Who else but me added “hand cuts” (or rather, I made artificial silicone cuts, they just can’t be seen from such a distance. Stupid, right?). I would call it a reference to my experience. To put it simply – “freedom or death”.

The scream itself is also depicted as a scream of this very “Free”.

I decided not to use any make-up, paints, or makeup in this work. The element of nudity here is also about the fact that you are free from everything. From someone’s thoughts, wishes, worldview.
