Great post! I’m familiar with New Order’s 1986 hit “Bizarre Love Triangle” — still familiar almost 40 years on. Interestingly, that song gave rise to a Filipino band with the same name (True Faith), with its signature sound evoking the 80s.
The beginning of this song explained to me why in the 90s games there was such music 🙂
As for the names – sometimes they play a very important role, and the wrong name for a band can make it impossible to search for it on Google. At that time, they didn’t think much about it, but now the wrong name (similar to another) makes it impossible to search for a band as such 🙂
