“We-we watered the flowers with gasoline
Now everything’s dying in front of me
I fell in the fire
I love you but I’ll never say so..”(c)Rain City Drive
For a long time, the phrase from the song by the band Rain City Drive, which bears the title of this work, haunted me. And I decided that I had to do something with it, to beat it. To do something that would reflect it. And just then, a beautiful lavender rose stopped blooming. And the stars aligned…
I won’t add much mystification – these are my favourite soap bubbles with air freshener again. I really like the “Hollywood effect” that they give. So I couldn’t resist and used them again.
What is this work about for me? Hmm. It’s hard to say. I like the play on words:
“Hold on to lust, hold on in vain
Pictures of us
Keep me in pain
I’ll turn to rust
If you let me stand inside your rain”
But I won’t make a reference to that person again, although there is something in that.
Let’s do it this way. Sometimes you understand that your presence in a person’s life will only make them worse. Because you always remain who you are. So I would change the chorus “I only wish you the best, Even though you’re the worst” to “I only wish you the best, Even though i’m the worst” and leave everything else as is.
